I joined in July and I have been working out at Good Time Fitness. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to get fit the right way. The team puts a lot of thought in their workouts. The workouts are intense but the results are phenomenal. I may have lost only a few pounds on the scale but my body has changed dramatically.  I have trained with personal trainers earlier but Nate has been exceptional. My workouts are well structured and crafted to how I feel on a particular day. Nate and I have worked around my weak back, knee, and wrist and I feel stronger than ever before. I highly recommend him. No matter what your fitness goals are they can help achieve it.

I joined Good Time Fitness with a primarily goal of strengthening my knees, which were showing signs of fatigue after years of abuse from running and climbing. They analyzed my problem and set me up on a strengthening routine. I started seeing results fairly quickly and I am looking forward to regaining my old knee strength; in fact, I have already signed up for a race in October. They have amazing coach and relentlessly work with me to get the form right, and keeps on trying various tricks until I do. They keep the routines challenging, as well as fun, which takes the sting out of hitting the gym on a regular basis. They are extremely knowledgeable and explain the science behind all the moves to help me understand how a particular routine would help me move towards my fitness goals. I always train with Nate, but have also done a couple sessions with other trainers as well, and they are all knowledgeable and fun.

I spent a month strength training with Good Time Fitness, they understood my goals and it made me see my progress over time, I had issues with my lower back when I performed deadlifts or squats, and they had efficient ways to gradually fix it and have more confidence later on.  Of course, I learned the right form for squat, bench press, deadlift etc. and I enjoyed it. I would consider spending more time with them in the future.

I have been working with Good Time Fitness for almost two years.  I started with a promotion plan for new customers when they trained in Seattle.   I didn’t expect I could go through the training at that time but they made me believe in their philosophy and stayed with the program.  I started with once a week and twice a week in the Summer.  Everytime, they worked everything, trying to hit the best weight in squats,  either overhead press or bench, plus a set of pull ups.  The training is not exhausting but it is very challenging and effective.  After 6 months of simple squat exercises,  I am surprised by how much my body has been transformed.  I didn’t lose weight,  but l can tell I looked better and I felt stronger.  Honestly squats are boring,  but the trainers took notes for every single set and it gradually becomes interesting because you started to measure and challenge yourself with your own record.  Now I really appreciate what the team has presented me the experience that I didn’t have before.  From time to time I feel proud of having a strong physical foundation and more confident in many sports I like to try.

Good Time Fitness has great trainers! I’ve been training with them for several months. they are very professional, friendly and caring. They always insists on proper form and are very good at pushing my limits. The results are pretty good so far. My strength improves significantly and even though my weight stays the same, I notice that my waist is getting smaller. I highly recommend Good Time Fitness to anyone who’s looking for a personal trainer!

Fitness is a passion and I’ve been exercising/playing regularly for close to 18 years. Over the years I had formed my own routine and kept turning to magazines and blogs for new ideas. I didn’t want to work with personal trainers – partly because they are expensive ( 🙂 ) and partly because I didn’t want someone dictating / infringing on my sacred workout time. 

That changed in September last year when I had a back injury and started working with a trainer for the first time. I learned so much in those 2 months that I decided to find a new trainer and continue the good work upon returning to Seattle. 

I discovered Good Time Fitness through Yelp and Facebook and was intrigued by so many 5 star reviews. It seemed too good to be true so I decided to check it out. 

I have been working with Nate for 2 months now and can genuinely say that the stars are well deserved. Nate is patient, flexible, personable but most importantly, he really understand the physiology of exercise and is totally focused on your workout and your goals.

He does an in depth assessment of your state and goals and then builds a custom program based on the proven, no-frills bedrock exercises that have been the staples of bodybuilders and athletes through the years. It’s his attention to detail that really sets him apart. I thought I knew the technique and how to do the movements but boy am I happy to have been corrected.  His techniques and corrections have helped me hit new personal bests on my bench press, squats, deadlifts, shoulder presses and more. And these aren’t flimsy gains, I am lifting an average of 30 lbs. more on every workout with more sets. In just 2 months I can see the transformation happening and look forward to our twice a week meetings.

I have been gaining muscle and strength

The trainers are really professional and nice. I’ve trained with them for two months and feel the difference. They arranges a reasonable load on me and record all my progress. By tracking my progress I have a feeling of fun and achievement. I have been gaining muscle and strength, very obviously. They are also very friendly and easy going. I like to work with them and am willing to recommend Good Time Fitness to others.

I started training with Good Time Fitness after I purchased their Groupon offer. After 3 sessions, I was hooked. I now train three times a week. I’ve always exercised and would consider myself fit, but their method of training has really shaken things up. I saw results within a month, I’ve lost 8 lbs and am really toning up. Beginning to see great definition, which is what I wanted. The trainers are very approachable, professional and knowledgeable. During each exercise they’ll make slight adjustments to my form if needed, these adjustments make a big difference in ensuring that I get all the benefits from each rep. From someone who never thought she needed a personal trainer, I now see the enormous benefits they can bring to your workout. They also worked with me on my diet, and gave me a diet plan that has helped me lose lbs and given me tons more energy. I’d highly recommend Good Time Fitness to anyone who either wants to start getting into shape or for people that are in shape and want to train in a different way to see results.

Alright, I’m going to serve you all the tea on Good Time Fitness garnished with a dash of basil, a dash of honey and a tablespoon of lemon. 

I’ve been seeing Nate for about a year. When I started I was fabulous but I was not in shape, I was not confident, I had no fitness knowledge and hadn’t stepped into a gym in roughly 10 years. Being in my [redacted], I was losing energy and beginning to feel aches and pains everywhere. 

From the start, Nate was kind, easy going, informative. He listened to me if I felt I was over exerting myself (I almost died on the floor a couple of times) and allowed me to break as needed. Everything was nice and slow and he kept meticulous track of every workout and always let me know when I had exceeded a previous best which was insanely good motivation. 

The first time I set foot into the gym with Nate I was uncomfortable and completely lacked any self confidence. I draped myself in hoodies and baggy clothes. Now, a year later, my friends and colleagues comment on how much trimmer I look, how I don’t wear baggy jackets to cover myself anymore, and do I still wear hoodies and baggy shorts to the gym? No sir, no ma’am, no turkey, no salami – I wear gym clothes realness and skanky short shorts! 

I have gained enough knowledge that I am empowered to go to the gym by myself on non-training days and I’ve made a ton of progress – none of it would have been possible without Nate’s guiding hand.

(Please note: Nate is huge on squats and deadlifts, so if you work at it and listen to him you will need new pants from bulging thighs and a gigantic rear within 6 months – personal experience.)
