Fitness is a passion and I’ve been exercising/playing regularly for close to 18 years. Over the years I had formed my own routine and kept turning to magazines and blogs for new ideas. I didn’t want to work with personal trainers – partly because they are expensive ( 🙂 ) and partly because I didn’t want someone dictating / infringing on my sacred workout time.Â
That changed in September last year when I had a back injury and started working with a trainer for the first time. I learned so much in those 2 months that I decided to find a new trainer and continue the good work upon returning to Seattle.Â
I discovered Good Time Fitness through Yelp and Facebook and was intrigued by so many 5 star reviews. It seemed too good to be true so I decided to check it out.Â
I have been working with Nate for 2 months now and can genuinely say that the stars are well deserved. Nate is patient, flexible, personable but most importantly, he really understand the physiology of exercise and is totally focused on your workout and your goals.
He does an in depth assessment of your state and goals and then builds a custom program based on the proven, no-frills bedrock exercises that have been the staples of bodybuilders and athletes through the years. It’s his attention to detail that really sets him apart. I thought I knew the technique and how to do the movements but boy am I happy to have been corrected. Â His techniques and corrections have helped me hit new personal bests on my bench press, squats, deadlifts, shoulder presses and more. And these aren’t flimsy gains, I am lifting an average of 30 lbs. more on every workout with more sets. In just 2 months I can see the transformation happening and look forward to our twice a week meetings.Â
Net net check him out. You won’t regret working with Nate.Â
